Ticketek's Invite Friends allows you to purchase your own tickets and then hold a limited number of additional tickets in your carriage for your friends to purchase, which means you do not have to incur all the up-front costs of making a group booking.
Invite Friends is available for all Blues Train shows and is a simple three-step process:
- Purchase your own tickets online and and select the "Invite Friends" tool to hold up to 10 tickets (including your own) for friends for a maximum 24 hours.
- Nominate up to 20 friends you would like to invite to purchase the tickets on hold. Invite Friends then sends them an automated email invitation with all the event details, the number of tickets on hold, the time by which the tickets can be purchased before they are released, and a link to the purchase page.
- Your friends then choose to purchase as many tickets in your carriage as they wish from the number of reserved tickets available. Invite Friends allocates tickets on a first come first served basis. If the seats are not purchased within the time limit, they are automatically returned to sale.
